The journey so far

Roughly how I got here, and the people who helped along the way. The short version is on the home page.

  1. Apr 2024

    Codement

A 24-hour national hackathon, 400+ people, and I was on the core team running it. Honestly the hackathon wasn’t the big part. The seniors who organised it became my mentors, and almost everything after this traces back to that weekend.

    where it started

  2. Aug 2024

    Guru Branding Services

Joined Guru Branding Services early with a few people from that same hackathon circle, and stayed a year. Built CRMs and ERPs on NestJS and had senior devs tear my code apart every day (in the best way). That’s where I learned that working code and code people can depend on are two very different things.

a full year of code reviews

  3. Aug 2025

    First thing on npm

Published MediaX, a small TypeScript SDK that makes FFmpeg a bit less painful to use. Started building projects on my own around the same time, and started working with Vandana Thawait, a designer who taught me a lot about building things people actually enjoy using. We still build together.

  4. Aug – Dec 2025

    formiq, Compass, and a classroom

Built formiq end to end because I was tired of writing the same form backend again. Then started Compass, a multi-tenant CRM for real-estate teams, mostly to see how far I could take tenant isolation and background jobs. On the side I taught web development for three months at an institute in Jalgaon. Every student was older than me, which was a bit awkward at first.

    still building Compass

  5. Dec 2025 – Jul 2026

    Mindtrot Technologies

Engineering intern at Mindtrot, on their out-of-hospital care product. React and TypeScript, building flows, fixing bugs, and keeping the heavier pages fast. Wrapped up in July.

    eight months

  6. Early 2026

    offease

Vandana and I built offease together, a co-working aggregator with a booking side and an operator side on one backend. It’s live now.

    shipped, and live

  7. May 2026

    First merged PR in Valibot

Got my first PR merged into Valibot, a schema validation library I use all the time. Small change, but reading through a codebase that careful taught me more than most tutorials did.

    first real OSS contribution

  8. Mid 2026

    WhatsApp, twice

Built a WhatsApp AI agent that handles customer conversations with replies and routing. Then a plug-and-play WhatsApp Cloud API service for a multi-tenant CRM, where the interesting part was keeping every tenant’s credentials isolated. The whole design is in this post.

  9. Aug – Sep 2026

Go, a projector, and more Valibot

Picked up another issue in Valibot. Started learning Go, and the best way I know to learn something is to build with it, so a projector with a missing remote turned into projector-remote: a Go server running on the projector itself, which I had to root first. The whole rabbit hole is in this post.

    rooted it, oops

  10. Now

    Rate limiters, OSS, and IoT

Deep in outbound rate limiting and building something around it, since bottleneck isn’t maintained anymore. Exploring more open source to contribute to. Moved my machine to Arch Linux. And I’m digging into IoT for my final-year college project, which feels like a natural next step after spending a month inside a projector.

    you are here
